Sense Education is an edtech startup dedicated to reimagining how assessments are designed and delivered. Our AI-powered tools support scalable, fast, fair, and pedagogically rich assessments-enabling educators to provide meaningful, personalized feedback without sacrificing academic integrity or efficiency.We're looking for a Junior Product Manager with a strong foundation in User Experience (UX) to help us bring this vision to life.About the RoleAs a Junior Product Manager at Sense Education, you'll support the design, development, and improvement of user-centered features across our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are not only functional and scalable but also intuitive and impactful for both educators and learners.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product management career who is eager to grow, especially at the intersection of product development, UX, and AI-driven learning tools.Key Responsibilities****Be Customer-Centered

Collaborate with design and research teams to advocate for the user and help translate user insights into actionable product ideas.
Conduct and leverage user research and usability testing to inform product improvements.
Help define and refine user flows, wireframes, and feature requirements that prioritize usability and accessibility.

Support Product Strategy & Execution

Assist in defining and managing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Contribute to product planning, roadmaps, and release schedules in collaboration with senior product managers and engineering leads.
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of our agile process.
Help evaluate new product opportunities and support prioritization aligned with business and user needs.

Communicate & Coordinate

Act as a connector between users, design, engineering, and leadership to ensure clear and consistent product understanding.
Maintain well-organized documentation, ticketing, and communication throughout the development lifecycle.
Help create clear and compelling product presentations, user journey maps, and competitive analysis documents.

Who You Are

2 years of experience in product management, UX design, or a related role (including internships or freelance projects).
Background or education in UX design, HCI, or a related field; strong appreciation for user-centered design principles.
Passionate about education, technology, and AI, and excited to shape the future of assessment tools.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive-able to manage tasks independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with tools like Figma, Jira, Confluence, and/or user research platforms is a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience working on edtech or AI-driven products.
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) or design systems.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and ticket-writing (epics, user stories).
Interest in data-driven design and decision-making.
