- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for front-end and back-end systems, including mobile applications, ensuring all features function as intended.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential usability issues.
- Use SQL queries to validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across databases.
- Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality test coverage.
- Communicate findings, defects, and test results clearly and effectively to team members and management.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Monday.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and screenshots or logs.
- Apply critical thinking and attention to detail to quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, specializing in both front-end and back-end systems, with a focus on B2C mobile applications.
- Strong proficiency with SQL for database validation and testing.
- Strong ability to analyze requirements, identify testing needs, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and understand how software components interact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document and explain defects, test results, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Team player - willing to collaborate and work closely with other team members and also work as an independent, confidently taking decisions.
- Automation [Advantageous] - Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Appium, etc.) to assist in automating repetitive test cases.
