- Define and execute Team8’s brand strategy, visual identity, and tone of voice across all communications.
- Develop a clear messaging framework that scales across venture creation, investment, talent, and portfolio storytelling.
- Lead creative and content strategy across digital, social, video, and editorial - ensuring all output is on-brand and insight-driven.
- Own the content and creative strategy for the Team8 website - ensuring it communicates our venture model, portfolio, and vision with clarity and creativity.
- Drive the development of new digital storytelling formats that bring our ventures and founders to life.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and SEO experts to optimize narrative flow and performance.
- Oversee Team8’s storytelling on LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Build a cross-platform content calendar that includes founder stories, thought leadership, portfolio highlights, and moments from our Villages.
- Guide our partners and executives in shaping their personal digital presence - bridging authenticity with strategic influence.
- Manage the production of creative materials for events, decks, one-pagers, social media, and campaigns.
- Direct external agencies, designers, videographers, and writers to deliver consistent, high-quality brand experiences.
- Ensure every visual and narrative asset aligns with our overarching creative strategy.
- Lead the editorial voice of Team8 - managing blogs, podcasts, founder interviews, newsletters, ghostwriting, and long-form content.
- Develop compelling video content strategies: brand films, explainers, startup stories, social clips.
- Partner with internal experts and external storytellers to produce premium content that engages and educates.
- 5+ years leading creative, content, or brand strategy in a startup, fund, media platform, or innovation-focused company.
- Proven experience driving high-quality content across formats - digital, social, editorial, and video.
- Deep understanding of social platforms and how to adapt brand stories to each environment.
- A strategic and conceptual thinker who knows how to turn ideas into emotionally resonant, business-aligned output.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and external creatives - from ideation to execution.
- Strong storytelling instincts, visual taste, and editorial judgment.
- Experience in the venture or startup ecosystem is a strong advantage.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance creative workflows and content efficiency.
- Proven ability to integrate AI-powered solutions, such as generative content tools, image generation platforms, and AI-driven analytics, into content planning, production, and optimization.
- Experience working with both global and local PR firms to support thought leadership initiatives and news announcements – an advantage.
