We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of next generation of fixtures and test equipment.This key position includes design and leading of fixtures design, close interaction with NPI, SPE (System Product Eng.), HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), Thermal, Layout.NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. Our product line is focused on delivering the most optimized Ethernet solutions for industries like Media and Entertainment as well as any other industry that can benefit from our DataStream and TCP/IP acceleration.What you’ll be doing:Drive the mechanical design aspects of Test/Assembly infrastructure (fixtures and jigs) to enable high volume manufacturing.Drive multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.Independently lead JIGs design from concept, through detailed design, and support it during Qualification, NPI and MP stages.Support production performing failure analysis and handling reliability issues.Collaborate in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.What we need to see:BSc. in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in classical mechanical design of mechanisms, jigs and fixtures for products assembly/testing.Knowledge and experience in automation (pneumatics, xyz, robots, servo, etc…)Knowledge and experience in static and dynamic analysis and simulations.Well acquaintanceship with local manufacturers and suppliers.Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.Open mind, challenged, creative, initiator, and quick perception.Ability to manage multiple tasks and co-workers while being very well organized (knowhow to work in Multitasking mode with tasks priorities).Ability to work independently and as a member of a team as well.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience with mechanical simulation and animation tools.Background in Pneumatic control systems and automatic assembling lines.Knowledge in IDF file exchange with Layout engineers.Experience in opto-mechanic and micromechanical manufacturing and testing processes.NVIDIA is committed to encouraging a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
