- Leading an R&D group of 10-20 engineers, designing, deploying and upgrading capital equipment used during research, development, and manufacturing processes. The product is software heavy, multidisciplinary highly specialized machinery.
- Leading the group activities, thought the full life cycle of the products, from concept to validation, integration, deployment and sustained engineering.
- Participate in requirements definition, system design, and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanics, Computer Science or equivalent from a leading university (M.Sc. an advantage).
- 15 years of experience in R&D roles, as a hands-on designer/developer (a must) and as team/group leader (a must) in multidisciplinary industries.
- Both development and execution focused.
- System engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and measurements of physical systems (e.g. HW systems, sensors).
- A leader that can build and navigate the team even in rough seas.
- Project and budget managementbackground/understanding.
- Confident both with cascade and Agile methodology.
- MATLAB/Python proficiency is an advantage.
- High level of problem-solving skills and debugging of high complexity systems.
- Fast learner who can rapidly adapt to new tools, technologies, and workflows.
- Experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a track record driving teams to achievements and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
