We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of solutions for our next generation Network Switches! This key position includes product ownership focusing on liquid cooled products and includes close interaction with HW, Thermal, Layout, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Quality and Supply chain groups.NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end network connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. Our product line is focused on delivering the most optimized network solutions for industries like Media and Entertainment as well as any other industry that can benefit from our DataStream and TCP/IP acceleration.What you’ll be doing:Designing the mechanical aspects of cooling solutions for the next generation of NVIDIA switches, as part of a multi disciplined design process including power, thermal, and environmental requirementsProposing multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cyclesIndependently working on product design from concept, design for manufacturing, detailed design and initial bring up. Additionally, providing support through Qualification, NPI, Mass production and field installation stagesSupporting task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issuesCollaborating in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that tackle ever growing needs both in power and densityWhat we need to see:B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degree or higherStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA designEstablished experience with 3D CAD. Creo is a big advantageSelf-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammateKnowledge of manufacturing raw materials, Hardware fasteners, finishing and coatingsAbility to switch between tasks rapidly while being very well organizedHands on experience – ability to assemble what you designed & train others to do soWays to stand out from the crowd:Display significant body of design work done in Creo and Windchill,Engineering managerial backgroundExperience in working with supply chains, sub contract manufacturers and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partnersValidated experience with mechanical stress simulation toolsExperience in development and implementation/training of new design, flow methodologies and IDF relevant experienceNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
