Legal Counsel

- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, ranging from complex cloud technology agreements, various forms of software licenses, Software as a Service, support and maintenance, data processing agreements, professional services contracts, payment processing agreements and non-disclosure agreements. You will advise on liabilities, legal restrictions and risks associated with such agreements.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to various departments across the company.
- Other duties as may be required.
- 6+ years of commercial law experience as in-house legal counsel in a technology company or an associate in a high tech department of a top tier law firm.
- Experience working in a large, global organization.
- Native, mother-tongue English.
- Excellent writing, drafting, negotiating, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in the areas of commercial law, contracts and payments.
- Strong contract drafting skills, with deep legal and commercial understanding and analytical capabilities;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships across the organization.
- Ability to negotiate with external third parties on behalf of internal stakeholders to close transactions efficiently.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively and handle multiple deadlines.
- A Law Degree from an accredited institution.
