One of our clients, an innovative technology company specializing in developing advanced robotic platforms for building facade cleaning and maintenance, is looking to hire a QA & Automation Engineer - Embedded to join their team in Tel Aviv (hybrid work model). The company combines robotics, computer vision, and cloud technologies to deliver state-of-the-art solutions for the maintenance industry.About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for an independent professional to establish the company's QA function from the ground up and take full ownership of related processes and tools. While the position is not managerial at the start, the first year will see you as the sole QA professional, working closely with development, hardware, and operations teams to set up robust quality assurance foundations. High performance in this role will open a clear path toward building and leading a QA team in the future.Responsibilities

Establish and manage QA and automation processes for embedded and robotic systems.
Develop automated test scripts in Python and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins).
Plan and execute manual end-to-end tests, including field and integration testing.
Manage defect tracking in Jira, perform triage, and oversee resolutions.
Use cloud environments (AWS) for testing and automation tasks.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including hardware, software, algorithms, and operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in QA automation for embedded systems.
Proficiency in Python (mandatory); C++ knowledge is an advantage.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipeline setup.
Hands-on, independent work style with the ability to perform on-site testing.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with robotics, hardware-software integrated systems, or mechatronics.
Familiarity with Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar tools.
