- Build state-of-the-art simulation tools to model and analyse error mechanisms in quantum systems.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including experimental and theoretical quantum physicists, engineers, and software developers - to ensure seamless integration between theory and experiment.
- Foster effective collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Stay current with the latest developments in quantum error correction and related fields.
- Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent, with a strong publication record in relevant fields.
- Proven background in Quantum Error Correction, Quantum Information, or Quantum Algorithms (strong advantage).
- Experience implementing complex algorithms in Python, C++, or other programming languages; experience with numerical simulations of quantum systems is a strong advantage.
- Background in computer science fundamentals (algorithms/data structures, complexity theory, graph theory) is an advantage.
- Ability to learn quickly and master new areas.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and uncertainty.
