Imagine empowering Taboola's advertisers to extend their reach to premium placements in the open web and even in closed gardens. This is the core mission of the Audex team - tapping into massive new revenue streams by buying indirect inventory via RTB, all while optimizing at scale for performance and profitability.Who We're Looking For (You're someone who):

- 2+ years of experience managing engineers or leading large-scale projects
- 4+ years of hands-on backend development in Java or a similar OOP language
- Proven track record in designing and building large-scale distributed systems
- Solid CS fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, multi-threaded programming
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data tools
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Lead a team of highly skilled backend engineers building infrastructure and features used by thousands of sites and over 1.4 billion users globally
- Drive strategic integrations with off-network and closed-garden environments
- Work closely with key stakeholders across Product, Business, and PS (Professional Services) to align bidder-related initiatives and ensure end-to-end execution
- Own and scale systems handling 500K+ requests per second, generating over 100TB of new data daily
- Utilize a cutting-edge tech stack including Java 8, Spring, Reactor Core, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, MySQL, Vertica, Kubernetes, Grafana, Tableau, and more
- Collaborate with experienced tech leads, engineers, and product managers to define the team's roadmap and technical vision
