A leading global tech company is looking for a Senior Application Security Researcher to join its security team in Israel. This is a hands-on, impactful role where you'll shape the security of products used by top enterprises worldwide. You will conduct vulnerability research, assess architecture and code for security risks, and build tools to protect complex software environments at scale. You will work closely with R&D and DevOps teams, acting as a key point of contact for identifying and solving security challenges across the organization.This role has a strong development focus, aiming to ensure that our products meet high security standards and industry best practices.Responsibilities:

Continuously assess and challenge the security posture of applications and systems
Review architecture, design, and code for vulnerabilities and security risks
Educate and mentor developers on secure coding, frameworks, and best practices
Evaluate new technologies and industry standards in the application security space
Lead security initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product security

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in application security
Hands-on experience with Web Application Penetration Testing - mandatory
Strong coding skills (Java, Golang, JavaScript preferred) - mandatory
Experience with cloud environments - advantage
Familiarity with microservices architecture (Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh) - advantage
Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and ownership
Excellent communication skills and a passion for knowledge sharing and improvement
