Proofpoint.The RoleAs part of the Illusive business unit, you'll play a key role in developing our cutting-edge Identity Threat Detection and Response solution. As part of the Shadow team, you will focus on our deception-based detection technology and help our customers catch the bad guys! In your role, you will lead architectural efforts within our SaaS environment, design and develop scalable security features, and drive technical excellence across the team.Your day-to-day

Collaborate with product teams to define and refine feature requirements
Design and implement high-quality, secure, and scalable code
Write comprehensive unit tests and system tests to ensure robust code quality
Lead team member design and code reviews with constructive feedback
Proactively suggest product improvements and technical optimizations
Resolve complex customer issues and provide technical support

What You Bring To The Team Required

At least 3 years of experience in developing BE applications with Java
Extensive experience writing SQL queries
Experience developing SaaS applications
Proven ability to lead end-to-end feature development

Nice to have

Experience with cybersecurity/threat detection technologies
Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
Microservices architecture and distributed systems
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Agile/Scrum methodologies
