NVIDIA Networking team is looking for an outstanding candidate who thrives in a multifaceted environment, to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases, working under the guidance of senior release managers. The candidate will coordinate between development and testing groups and between global SW groups. In addition, the role will require to gain good understanding of products dependencies. This position requires a foundational understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release management processes.What you’ll be doing:Be an effective leader in crafting and driving a delivery high quality SW in an efficient way.Partner with Engineering, Operations, Architecture and Marketing to coordinate the release of the products and ensure release will meet the schedule and with high qualityWork with planning and tracking systems to assist the senior managers in tracking release progress and build release indicatorsPartner with the QA teams to ensure alignment of all tests between the development, verification and QA groupsCollaborate with teams across the globe to drive process changes that can help improve development and release workflowTake ownership of cross products tasks (i.e. ongoing management of customer bugs, release checklists, and more)What we need to see:Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or industrial EngineeringOne of the following:1-3 years of proven experience as a Release manager1-3 years of proven experience as a SW project manager3+ years experience as a developer/verification/QA engineer with a passion to change direction to a release managerGreat interpersonal skills.Agility with multi-tasking abilities and work in accordance with guidance and in organized wayOnce received guidance - Ability to self-manage, self-start, lead technically and communicate effectivelyExcellent problem-solving, analytical thinking and critical thinking abilitiesExcellent presentation skills and eloquent English. Public speaking requiredProficiency with tools such as MS Excel, Atlassian Confluence, enterprise ticket system e.g. Redmine, Jira, TFSWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience in leading global projectsProficiency with BI tools e.g. MS PowerBIGood technical knowhow and familiarity with NetworkingLinux OS technologies knowledgeGithub knowledge
