Data Science Engineer

• Lead the research and development of machine learning and statistical models for network behavior, anomaly detection, performance forecasting, and root cause analysis
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights from large-scale network telemetry and time series data
• Prototype and validate algorithms, leveraging real customer datasets and domain expertise
• Work closely with the CTO to guide product direction and shape the analytical backbone of the platform
• Translate research into production-grade solutions and collaborate with engineering teams for scalable deployment
• Continuously evaluate and improve the accuracy, robustness, and performance of deployed model
• Stay current with academic and industry research relevant to machine learning for network systems and observability

• Strong academic background (MSc or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Math, or similar
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in applied data science or research roles, preferably in a networking, infrastructure, or observability context
• Deep experience with time series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling
• Solid programming skills in Python, and familiarity with modern data science libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas)
• Experience with data engineering tools (Kafka, Spark, Airflow,Influx) and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Understanding of core networking concepts: routing, switching, protocols, SNMP, NetFlow, etc.
• Strong communication skills - capable of turning raw data and abstract models into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
