The XM Cyber platform enables companies to rapidly prioritize and respond to cyber risks affecting their business-sensitive systems.We are seeking an experienced and security-oriented System Administrator to join our IT team. Responsible for maintaining, configuring, and securing our organization’s infrastructure, with a strong focus on networking, virtualization, and firewall administration. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with internal users and cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:● Manage and monitor internal infrastructure, including servers, networks, virtualization platforms, and firewalls.● Administer and maintain systems such as VMware/Hyper-V and backup solutions.● Configure and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) with a focus on security best practices.● Apply security patches, hardening procedures, and proactively monitor for threats and vulnerabilities.● Respond to technical system support tickets and incidents in a timely and customer-focused manner.● Document system configurations, processes, and procedures clearly and accurately.● Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and improvements.● Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.● 3–5 years of experience in a system/network administration role.● Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).● Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.● Proficiency in managing firewalls.● Strong knowledge of security best practices and system hardening techniques.● Familiarity with Microsoft and/or Linux server environments.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.● Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.● Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and security awareness.● Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.● Collaborative team player with strong customer service orientation.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):● Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).● Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
