The future of cybersecurity starts with you.About the Role:CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Cloud Security Inventory team within the Falcon Cloud Security organization. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable inventory systems that process and manage cloud resources across multiple cloud providers. You'll be part of a team handling high-scale data processing, serving both customer-facing and internal applications, while expanding our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) capabilities.What You'll Do:Design and develop inventory systems processing muti millions of cloud resources daily across multiple cloud providersResearch and deep dive into cloud provider services to expand resource coverage and become a subject matter expertBuild and optimize high-throughput data collection pipelines that can handle rapid scale increasesDevelop creative solutions for resource relationship mapping, efficient data storage, and real-time inventory updates at massive scaleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their unique inventory needs and create scalable solutionsParticipate in architectural discussions to solve complex technical challengesResearch and propose new approaches to handle growing data volumes and customer requirementsHelp maintain system reliability while constantly scaling up operationsTechnical Environment:Programming Languages: GoDatabases: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/Opensearch, CassandraMessage Queuing: KafkaCloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, OCIContainerization: Docker, KubernetesMonitoring: Grafana, PrometheusWhat You'll Need:BS in Computer Science or related field5+ years of software development experienceExperience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)Strong programming skills in GoUnderstanding of distributed systems and data processingExperience with databases and data modelingGood problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work with large-scale systemsStrong teamwork and communication abilitiesBonus Points:Experience with multiple cloud providers - Especially Azure and OCI.Familiarity with message queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)Experience with high-throughput data processingUnderstanding of data structures and algorithms for efficient data retrievalKnowledge of cloud security concepts and CSPMExperience with monitoring and observability toolsFamiliarity with infrastructure as codeGrowth Opportunities:Learn about multiple cloud providers and their security aspectsGain experience with high-scale distributed systemsDevelop expertise in cloud resource managementWork with cutting-edge cloud security technologiesCollaborate with experienced engineers and security professionalsLocation:
