Join us as we work towards a safer, greener future for the maritime industry.We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Data Scientist to join our expanding data group. You will work directly with our team of data scientists and analysts, leading the research and development of innovative analytics products. We're seeking someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, dive into the data, and deliver impactful solutions.What you'll do:

Design & Develop cutting edge, scalable and robust big data pipelines, integrated with orca's operational applications, deployed at hundreds of ships around the world.
Design & Develop best practice big lakehouse semantic data.
Serve as internal and external users, semantic data focal point.
Be a pivotal part in a highly professional data team.

Requirements:

BSc\B.Eng. or an equivalent background.
5+ years of prior experience as Analytics or Data Engineer.
Strong Python proficiency.
Strong SQL skills.
Proficient in data modeling and lakehouse methodologies.
Excellent team game.
SU culture orientation.

Big advantage if experienced with:

Cloud based data solutions.
Big-data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery etc.).
