• Own marketing across positioning, campaigns, content, brand, demand gen, product marketing, and events
• Partner closely with the founding team, product, and sales
• Have a massive impact on our category narrative and growth

• Own Shift's marketing strategy, messaging, and brand narrative for the cybersecurity and enterprise markets
• Design and execute early campaigns to reach CISOs and senior security buyers across North America
• Lead all initial growth initiatives - including content, events, social, demand gen, and product marketing
• Build core marketing infrastructure - website, lead gen flows, CRM, marketing automation
• Partner closely with sales and product to align marketing with GTM strategy and customer needs
• Represent Shift at industry events and drive visibility within the cybersecurity ecosystem
• Build and scale the marketing function, including hiring, agency relationships, and budget planning

• Experienced in cybersecurity startups - you've been in the trenches and understand the space deeply
• Hands-on and scrappy - you're not afraid to write copy, build landing pages, or roll up your sleeves when needed
• Strategic and analytical - you know how to create plans, measure what matters, and iterate quickly
• Creative storyteller - you know how to craft messaging that stands out in a crowded market
• Collaborative and humble - you thrive in startup chaos, work well with founders, and enjoy building from zero
