- Own and manage the branch for one of the areas in Check Point.
- Define, monitor, and enforce entry and exit criteria for code merges.
- Ensure branch stability by validating the quality of merges and responding rapidly to instability.
- Maintain alignment between your branch and the main integration branch.
- Track and manage the schedules of incoming merges (features, bug fixes, epics) from various development groups.
- Collaborate closely with QA and Automation teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and early detection of issues.
- Daily Monitor automated and manual test executions on the branch, ensuring a consistently green pipeline.
- Drive continuous process improvements to maintain high quality.
- Serve as the central point of contact for R&D teams regarding branch activities, merge windows, and issue resolution.
- Provide timely updates on branch status, including risks, blockers, and stability metrics to area managers
- Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to development and integration flows.
- Maintain clear documentation of merge processes, decisions, fixes, and quality assessments. Insure all content merged is documented in JIRA
- Report on key performance indicators related to branch health, such as merge frequency, time to fix, test success rates, and release readiness.
- At least 5 years' experience as technical Release management in SW industry
- Experience in matrix management of multidisciplinary teams including RND, QA, Management
- excellent understanding of Code Development work and QA work
- Technical abilities and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Independent and Self-directed
- Seeing the whole picture while being able to dig into details.
- Working in agile environment - advantage
- Experience in JIRA
- Deep understanding of development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
- Exceptional organizational skills
