Head of Data

• Own and build the Data function - scale teams, processes, and systems to support a hyper-growth environment.
• Lead and mentor the Analytics, BI, and Data Engineering functions, ensuring excellence in delivery, collaboration, and innovation.
• Define and implement AutoDSʼs data strategy, including architecture, governance, tooling, and data product vision. Establish and improve processes for data quality, access, documentation, and operations.
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to identify and deliver data opportunities that drive impact.
• Strengthen interfaces between Data and the rest of the company - ensure data teams are trusted partners across the organization.
• Drive strategic projects, such as evolving our data warehouse, enabling advanced analytics, and unlocking AI/ML capabilities.

• 8+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, or related fields.
• At least 3 years in leadership roles, managing data teams (Analytics, BI, Data Engineering, or similar).
• Proven success in building and scaling data functions in a fast-growing or high-change environment (startup / scale-up experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures, tools, and best practices (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Rivery, Tableau).
• Excellent people leadership and mentorship skills - ability to build, grow, and inspire teams.
• Strong stakeholder management: able to translate business needs into data solutions and influence at all levels.
• Hands-on mindset - willing to dive deep when needed while maintaining a strategic view.
• Proven experience working in a B2C company or consumer-focused environment.
