Job DescriptionAs a frontend infrastructure engineer in Wix Studio Editor, you will be responsible for building and maintaining one of Wix's biggest and most complex platforms.Wix Studio provides a complete development experience for building editors under Wix's umbrella.The platform forms the foundation for Wix Studio, Editor-X, Blocks, Mobile App Builder and Editor 3.0 (in planning).Although the position is in Wix's Studio Editor, you may be called upon to provide services to any one of Wix's other Editor teams.As an engineer, your responsibilities will include:Building and maintaining the responsive-editor full stack application which renders generic Repluggable applicationsProviding all the necessary dev tools for FED developers in order to easily develop and test cross-editor featuresWorking closely with FED infra teams in order to pass requirements and integrate new tools and featuresUsing performance profilers in order to improve the applications performanceWorking closely with production & BI teams to make sure all applications are working as expectedTaking part of planning and designing the platform that hosts all of Wix's editorsQualificationsProven track record of successfully leading and implementing frontend infrastructure projects in large-scale, complex environmentsExpertise in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.jsDeep understanding of web performance optimization, browser rendering behavior, and modern frontend build toolsExperience with state management, API integration, and data handling in frontend applicationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, product managers, and other stakeholdersLeadership experience in mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidanceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex frontend infrastructure issues efficientlyAbility to stay updated with the latest frontend and infrastructure trends, and a willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practicesProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results within established timelinesAdditional InformationAt Wix, we are at the forefront of innovation, driving the evolution of web development with our cutting-edge micro front-ends architecture.
