- Own the Experience 🤯 Lead the design of our entire product experience-from sign-up, onboarding, and aha! moments to day-to-day usage and power-user workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data science, and marketing to define and evolve the user experience across the platform. Champion user research, competitive research, data-informed design, and continual iteration to drive usability and delight.
- AI-First Experience Disrupt the current industry AI-assisted products to create an AI-first experience, focusing on explainable AI and showing the value of AI detections and responses.
- Lead the Design Team 💡 Mentor, grow, and manage a small but mighty team of Senior Product Designers. Create a collaborative, feedback-driven, and high-performing design culture. Establish scalable processes, elevate design quality, and guide the team through ambiguity toward clarity and execution.
- Immerse with our Customers 🤝 Develop a deep understanding of our users by using a variety of tools, research, and communication channels. Encourage the team to listen, observe, and gather insights that drive product decisions grounded in real user needs and behaviors.
- Product + R&D + UX = 💪 Partner with Product and Engineering to translate strategic product goals into intuitive, elegant user experiences. Push for evidence-based design and ensure user empathy is embedded throughout the product lifecycle. Contribute to roadmap planning and shape design's seat at the product table.
- Creative Mindset 🧠 Bring a strong product and UX perspective to complex design challenges. Guide your team to explore innovative and user-centric solutions, including AI-enhanced and explainable AI design patterns where relevant. Uphold our design system and ensure consistency across the platform experience.
- 8+ years of experience in product design, including at least 3 years in a design leadership role
- Experience managing and mentoring designers with a focus on growth, feedback, and design craft
- Proven track record of delivering and leading design for complex SaaS platforms (B2B experience required; cybersecurity a plus)
- Expertise in UX design, user research, and mapping customer journeys
- Experience with explainable AI and AI products - a strong advantage
- Highly proficient in Figma with a portfolio that reflects excellent visual, interaction, and product thinking skills
- Hands-on mindset and ability to balance strategy with execution
- Understanding of design, frontend, and backend dependencies and how to use a design system effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a collaborative team player comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
