
Salesforce CPQ Solutions Architect

- Lead the design and build of Salesforce CPQ implementations from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
- Translate complex business pricing structures into automated CPQ configurations.
- Own the technical setup of product catalogs, price rules, discount logic, approval processes, and quote templates.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand pricing models: subscription, usage-based, tiered, volume, and hybrid models.
- Support bundling strategies, SKU rationalization, and guided selling logic.
- Build rules that reflect approval thresholds, partner discounts, and contract conditions.
- Implement:
- Product, Price, Constraint, and Lookup Rules
- Dynamic bundles, guided selling flows, configuration attributes
- Custom quote templates, document generation, and approval automation
- Ensure modular, scalable, and well-documented configuration that aligns with long-term growth.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for CPQ across departments.
- Partner with Sales Ops, RevOps, Finance and Information Systems to align CPQ systems with the company's go-to-market strategy.
- Provide enablement materials and training for end-users and administrators.
- Drive project delivery: scope, timeline, risk management, and deployment.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain a service-oriented mindset that supports adoption and business satisfaction.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing CPQ solutions
- Proven track record of delivering full-cycle CPQ projects in complex environments
- Familiar with standard Sales processes best practices
- Strong command of:
- Product Catalog and Configuration
- Pricing Structures, Discounting, and Approval Workflows
- Product, Price, and Constraint Rules
- Quote Templates and Document Generation
- Familiarity with quote-to-cash processes and integration points (e.g., Salesforce, Billing Zoura, ERP)
- Experience with CPQ solutions ( Zoura, DealHub, Salesforce )
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (required)
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification (preferred or in progress)
- Experience with subscription billing, renewals, or revenue operations
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
- Familiarity with Apex, custom metadata, or Salesforce APIs (bonus)
