- Lead content creation including thought leadership articles, blogs, research, in-depth whitepapers, case studies, and video content that provides unique insights CFOs and finance teams can't find elsewhere
- Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content aligns with campaign objectives and product messaging
- Research and uncover unique and news-worthy angles that position Datarails as a thought leader
- Owning and improving content performance across traditional SEO metrics and emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), optimizing for maximum reach, discoverability, and engagement
- 5+ years of experience in content creation and strategy, with strong preference for B2B SaaS or fintech industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven track record of developing successful content marketing strategies that drive measurable business results

- Exceptional writing ability with a lively, engaging style that makes complex financial and technical concepts accessible and compelling

- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics, content performance measurement, and data-driven optimization
- Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, etc.) and AI search optimization
- Design understanding including powerful visuals and concepts to bring stories, whitepapers and our products, to life
- Understanding of the CFO's Office - familiarity with financial planning, analysis workflows, reporting challenges, and technology adoption
- Ability to translate complex concepts and financial processes into clear, valuable content that moves the needle
- Understanding of finance team hierarchies, decision-making processes, and successful content
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools for content research, analysis, iteration, and creation
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) and content management systems
- Experience with content distribution and amplification tools
