- Strategic Leadership and Comprehensive Accountability: Take complete ownership of the IT ecosystem, covering Endpoint Engineering, Service Desk, Engineering Labs and Field Operations for our Tel Aviv office - Serve as a strategic ally to internal and external stakeholders by setting priorities and ensuring that IT initiatives align with organizational objectives
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Expert User Support - Deliver top-tier support across various platforms like Mac, Windows, Chromebooks, and Mobile Devices - Consistently interact with stakeholders to obtain feedback and adapt IT solutions - Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional technical assistance
- Product and R&D Partnership - Tel Aviv is a critical engineering site for PANW - Collaborate with the R&D stakeholders and take full responsibility for providing the engineering infrastructure that’s required to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Resource Allocation and Endpoint Device Lifecycle Management - Supervise the full lifecycle of endpoint devices, guaranteeing effective resource distribution for hardware acquisition, onboarding, device substitution, and offboarding activities - Manage ITIL/ITSM processes to ensure optimal IT service availability and adherence to best operating practices that enable 24x7 uptime
- Endpoint Engineering - Build and maintain a close working partnership with product and R&D teams to ensure high levels of collaboration and integration
- Understanding of how to successfully navigate a distributed enterprise IT environment, collaborating with stakeholders to define the strategic direction, implementation, and service delivery of end user technologies
- Risk Mitigation and Regulatory Compliance - Collaborate with the Security team to uphold stringent security standards, focusing specifically on Zero Day vulnerability resolution and maintaining CIS compliance to safeguard against ever-evolving cybersecurity risks
- Vendor Relations and Strategic Procurement - Skillfully negotiate and administer contracts at the enterprise level with technical vendors, outsourcing partners, and contractors for both hardware and software needs - Actively manage program intake, portfolio prioritization, governance, and practices
- Financial Governance and Service Level Agreement (SLA) Monitoring - Secure consistent adherence to operational SLAs while proficiently managing budget and resource allocation across all functional areas
- Automation and Advanced Technology Integration - Smoothly integrate the organization’s AI strategy and focus on automating processes to reduce manual labor and elevate operational efficiency - Regularly review and adapt technology and processes, placing a particular emphasis on automation
- Digital Transformation Leadership and Constant Innovation - Direct initiatives like cloud migration and other digital transitions, instilling a sustained culture of continuous refinement and innovation - Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for transformative projects within the IT domain
- Team Empowerment and Ongoing Development - Manage support team, ensuring customer satisfaction. Encourage teams to conceptualize and set a strategic course, invigorate team members, and cultivate a trusting environment, all while pushing for service enhancements and innovation
- Metrics-Driven Service and Security Oversight - Embrace a data-centric method to evaluate service quality and security by defining and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) - Conduct regular metrics reporting, trend analysis, and stakeholder engagement to drive continual service improvement and process maturity
- Cross-Functional Engagement and Issue Resolution - Identify critical system issues promptly and marshal cross-functional teams and external vendors for swift incident remediation and effective issue management - Build robust internal and external networks to achieve business goals
- Proactive Environmental Assessments - Conduct periodic evaluations of the IT environment to proactively identify areas for technological and process enhancement, ensuring alignment with the organization’s top priorities
- Educational Qualifications - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory - a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred or equivalent military experience required
- Professional Experience - A minimum of 10+ years of substantial, hands-on experience with a successful history in spearheading and administering IT systems, products, services, and operations at an enterprise scale
- Technical Proficiency - Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT technologies, encompassing Cloud operations, End user Engineering, Data Center, Compute systems, Data Storage Systems, Zoom AV Rooms and staying abreast of emerging industry trends - Experience in Windows, Linux, Networking, TCP-IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load balancers, Wi-Fi, and VMware is also required
- Operational Management - Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices, particularly in Change Management, Release Management, Problem Management, Incident Management, Event & Service Desk Management - Observability and experience in building, scaling, and managing operations for diverse applications
- Endpoint Engineering - Experienced in designing, testing, validating, and implementing large-scale enterprise endpoint solutions, including device configurations, operating system deployments, and software distribution - Act as the first customer for Product and R&D, testing and implementing our products firsthand - Take the lead on endpoint-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives
- Security and Compliance - Experience in overseeing security infrastructure compliance and risk management within the IT domain
- Organizational Skills - Ability to operate efficiently in an agile/SAFe, DevOps-oriented organizational culture, with the capability to meet deadlines, prioritize business requirements, and juggle multiple projects concurrently
