We are seeking a skilled IT Automations & AI Expert to join our dynamic IT department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing automation solutions and integrating AI systems to streamline business processes. You'll leverage your coding expertise in Python and JavaScript, and your hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or similar tools to drive innovation across our organization. This position will report to the IT Manager.What you'll do:
- Develop Automation Solutions: Design, build, and implement automation workflows using platforms like Zapier, Workato, and other similar tools.
- AI Integration: Integrate AI systems into existing IT frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.
- Custom Coding: Write and maintain scripts and applications in Python and JavaScript to support automation and AI initiatives.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and AI enhancements across various business processes.
- Optimize Systems: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation workflows and AI integrations to ensure reliable performance.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support for automation and AI systems, addressing challenges and implementing improvements.
- Coding Proficiency: Demonstrated experience (3 years minimum) coding in Python and JavaScript with a portfolio of projects or contributions. Proficient with Git. Experience with implementing OAuth authentication flows
- Automation Expertise: (3 years minimum) Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or other similar tools. Working with various APIs and creating connectors and advanced workflows.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a knack for designing effective technical solutions.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling clear documentation and effective teamwork.
