We're expanding our engineering team and looking for a skilled and experienced Control & Automation Engineer (or Practical Engineer) to lead the design and implementation of control systems in cutting-edge industrial automation and robotics projects.This hands-on role includes planning, PLC and HMI programming, on-site commissioning, and close collaboration with our robotics, mechanical, and production teams.Willingness to travel in israel to customer sites is required for certain projects.Key Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of industrial control systems for advanced automation projects.
PLC and HMI programming (Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen-Bradley, and others).
Integration with robotics systems, conveyors, linear motion systems, and pneumatic components.
Participation in FAT/SAT processes, technical support, and customer training.
Writing technical documentation, system testing, and maintenance of existing installations.

Requirements:

Engineering/Prctical Engineering in Electrical /Control /Mechanical /Mechatronics - mandatory
At least 3 years of proven experience in designing and programming industrial control systems - mandatory
Proficiency in PLC and HMI systems, and familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus) - mandatory
Hands-on experience with sensors, switches, motors, mechanical systems, and pneumatics - mandatory
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics - advantage
Experience with robotic or collaborative robotic systems (cobots) - advantage
Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C) - advantage
Familiarity with smart automation / Industry 4.0 concepts - advantage
Experience with prototype development - strong advantage
