Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA’s metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Optical Metrology Division products are used for optical overlay metrology. The portfolio of products includes unique solution packages which are based on hardware and software systems to enhance yield and effectiveness. As a world leader in its field of expertise, the division's products are the most advanced in performance (measurement accuracy of nanometers and below), reliability, ease of use and compatibility with other KLA's products. KLA Israel is located in the Migdal Haemek Industrial Park.Job DescriptionGroup background:Developing the next generation optical based metrology. The team comprises of physicists, data and materials scientists. Involved in application development addressing first tier semiconductor manufacturing challenges.Job description:

Optical and Electro optical modeling. Understanding in light and matter interaction or electron beam imaging.
High level analysis capability in either Matlab or Python. Knowledge in source code applications.
Perform Application Research and Development in engagement with customers
Cross technologies/projects and integrated data solutions to allow future developments
Working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors
Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Interact with senior internal and external personnel

Minimum Qualifications

Student for B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. in Engineering or Physics

Background in Optics, Signal processing

Strong background in advanced data analysis
