We specialize in developing innovative indices, in-depth market research, and advanced analytics, using cutting-edge technologies and data-driven systems. In our company, you will find a challenging and dynamic work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.Role DescriptionAs a business development manager, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of index products within the financial industry. This position involves providing support in index research, client support, and market analysis, working closely with the Director of Business Development and the Index Operations team and varied clients including institutional investors, asset managers, and other key market participants. The role includes working with both legacy and new data systems, contributing to the growth of index offerings.Qualifications

Perform research and assist in development of new index products
Conduct performance analysis of indices using Excel and other tools in multiple environments and data bases
Gather and analyze financial data from various sources to support index development
Document index methodologies and specifications
Work closely with the Index Operations team
Develop and implement data analysis automation tools to streamline data processing and enhance operational efficiency
Contribute to high client retention rates and clients' portfolio expansion
Respond to client inquiries regarding existing indices and data
Providing timely and accurate information to clients regarding index performance and methodology
Preparation of client reports and presentations
Conduct market research analysis to identify trends and opportunities
Monitor global capital markets and identify relevant market events
Preparation of market research reports

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry
Knowledge of financial market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
Familiarity with Python, SQL or other scripting languages
Understanding of index methodologies and concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Passion for capital markets and a strong desire to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
