- Lead a cross-functional team of 4 experienced Full Stack Engineers and 1 QA Engineer.
- Be a hands-on contributor: Dedicate approximately 50% of your time to active development - designing and implementing features, writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with the team on technical design and architecture decisions.
- Drive the development lifecycle of complex, high-impact features - collaborating with stakeholders to define scope, make informed tradeoffs, and guide
- decision-making.
- Partner with senior technical leadership, including staff and principal engineers and AI researchers, on cross-company initiatives.
- Coach and mentor your team members, inspiring growth through individualized career development plans.
- Own and continuously refine the team's quarterly planning process - balancing long-term vision, current backlog, and immediate operational needs.
- Solve technical challenges alongside your team, addressing both short-term issues and long-term system-level improvements.
- Experienced builder: 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications.
- Proven leader: 3+ years managing teams of 3 or more engineers, with a strong record of delivering results.
- Product-focused: Passionate about owning a product's lifecycle - from vision and requirements to execution and delivery.
- Mentorship-driven: Committed to guiding and growing engineers, helping them reach their professional goals.
- Tech-savvy: Proficient with React, Redux and Python. Bonus for experience with:
- Hands-on with infrastructure: Experience deploying and maintaining systems in on-prem environments.
- AI collaborator: Comfortable working closely with AI teams and integrating ML-driven features.
- Strong communicator: Able to communicate ideas clearly to diverse audiences and build relationships across teams.
