The Sharp Lab, led by Dr. Paul B. Sharp at Bar-Ilan University's Department of Psychology (near Tel Aviv, Israel), is seeking ambitious, multidisciplinary researchers - PhD candidates and postdocs - to join our growing team.WHAT WE DO
We combine computational modeling (reinforcement learning, Bayesian models, cognitive maps) with cutting-edge experimental tools to investigate how humans learn and plan - and how these processes break down in mental illness.
Our research spans computational psychiatry, cognitive neuroscience, and decision science, aiming to map cognitive algorithms to neural and behavioral signatures.WHY JOIN US - WHAT'S NEW & EXCITING

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • PhD applicants (3-5 years funding) and postdocs (1-3 years funding)
  • Backgrounds in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, engineering, or related fields
  • Experience or interest in computational modeling, experimental design, or neuroimaging
  • Motivation, creativity, and a collaborative spirit
