We're looking for a Financial Data Analyst to help shape decision-making across our pricing, budget planning, forecasting, and market strategy. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams- from finance to senior leadership- to turn data into actionable insights.

- Conduct a thorough analysis of our financial figures, pricing, promotions, competitor trends, activities, KPIs, and business units to help make strategic decisions
- Define and monitor performance metrics and create dashboards and reports to track performance
- Provide insights beyond the numbers to support and execute strategic business decisions
- Produce and distribute reports to colleagues in the finance department
- Create budget plans and targets for departments and businesses
- Communicate key metrics and insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Identify, drive, and deliver projects and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and controls
- Participate in the company's forecasting process across verticals and units
- Develop economic tools and models to support decision-making by company management
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking of competitors' financials, and create and maintain economic databases and financial products
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data-heavy, analytical role
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Industrial Engineering, MBA is an advantage
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses like Athena or BigQuery
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and modeling
- Strong analytical, data mining, and modeling skills
- Drive execution, initiate projects, and manage them from start to end
- Process-oriented, well-organized, autonomous learner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Business or FinOps experience
- Knowledge in NoSQL data stores (Couchbase, Cassandra, Mongo, Elasticsearch, etc)
- Experience with Message Bus systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc)
