Chief Architect

• Define and guide the architecture of Salt's next-generation API security platform, focusing on scalability, performance, and innovation.
• Work closely with engineering teams to design robust, scalable, and elegant solutions, acting as a hands-on partner and trusted advisor.
• Identify architectural gaps and lead technical modernization and evolution.
• Spearhead deep-tech and innovation initiatives.
• Bring startup-level creativity and a CTO mindset - propose bold ideas, evaluate emerging technologies, and bring them to life.
• Act as an elite task force for complex or high-impact projects.
• Mentor and grow our architectural team, including direct management of senior architects.

• Proven experience as a Chief Architect, CTO, Founder, or similar senior technical leader.
• Deep knowledge in modern cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and security platforms.
• Strong system design capabilities with a focus on scale and performance.
• Experience with complex production environments and hands-on debugging of mission-critical systems.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making tough technical calls.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; you're a proactive initiator, not just an executor.
• Previous management experience and the ability to lead technical leaders.
