- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of IT infrastructure professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set objectives, and track progress to achieve department goals.
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including virtualization, servers, networks, storage, and data centers.
- Oversee system and network administration, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Project Management:
- Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project budgets and timelines.
- Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide technical expertise and support for complex infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated problems.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Capacity Planning:
- Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements as needed.
- Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS) are a plus.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and team leadership.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) - Must.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
