We continuously grow by adding and implementing the most cutting-edge technologies, conducting innovative Just Do It marathons, thinking about new features to add and investing in our employee training programs!BMC is looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager with a passion for innovation and technology!In this role, you will manage a team of DevOps Engineers who play a critical role in the SaaS infrastructure development of our amazing products. You will be responsible for hiring great talent, mentoring new and junior employees, assigning & prioritizing tasks, conducting employee evaluations, and helping our employees develop their careers at BMC.Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Direct management of a team of 5-7 employees.
Be responsible for hiring, coaching/mentoring, task management, employee evaluation, and career development of employees.
Plan, design, and develop our SaaS infrastructure, operation engine, and deployment strategy.
Lead the CI/CD system redesign to build a new, robust AWS & K8S-based system accommodating multiple CI/CD processes.
Apply creative technical skills to transform sophisticated backend servers into a SaaS solution.
Maintain existing code and our SaaS solution, including troubleshooting and solving production issues.
Work on next-generation technologies, products, and solutions for our new data platform.
Collaborate with various teams, such as Development, QA, R&D, Support, Product Management, and others.

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skill set and experience:

3+ years of experience in direct management of DevOps teams.
5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
Experience in hiring, mentoring, and task management.
Experience in SaaS architecture development on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Experience with SaaS infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Jenkins.
Experience with automation processes, automation tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Strong problem-solving skills with an investigative mindset.
A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

While these are nice to have, our team can help you develop the following skills:

Experience in enterprise companies.
Knowledge of operational and observability tools like DataDog.
Involvement in the full development lifecycle, from design to production.
