Join our dynamic and forward-thinking team!**We are looking for our next Computer vision / Machine Learning Software Engineer to join our growing team in Tel Aviv!**Reality Labs brings together a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers are today.As a CV/ML engineer working on 2D&3D AR/VR projects, you'll be driving efforts to develop new capabilities for Codec Avatars that provide creativity and social play experiences for people connecting through AR or VR products. This includes building the infrastructure, training, analyzing and productizing 2D&3D CV/ML algorithms that define the future of online social interaction.Responsibilities

Design, build and launch efficient CV/ML models and evaluate them in real-time and on mobile device.
Develop prototypes for future AR/VR experiences, cutting edge research, drive continued development, or integrate robust solutions into products
Code using Python and efficient real-time CV/ML libraries.
Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance.
Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems.

Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in Python and CV/ML development
Experience in building and maintaining scalable CV/ML pipelines (image processing, model training)
Experience with CV/ML performance and runtime optimization
Experience with Data Modeling.
Experience with GenAI/diffusion-models/Gaussian-splats
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.

Preferred Qualifications

Designing and implementing real-time CV/ML pipelines.
ML Model optimization and on-device deployment
Designing and implementing data pipelines for CV/ML systems.
Experience with workflow management engines (i.e. Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, Dagster, digdag.io, Google Cloud Composer, AWS Step Functions, Azure Data Factory, UC4, Control-M).
Experience querying massive datasets using Spark, Presto, Hive, Impala, etc.
