Asio Technologies, a leading provider of cutting-edge defense and navigation solutions, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our growing team.This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative environment, working on impactful projects that combine advanced technologies and real-world applications.Location: Kfar Saba, IsraelPosition type: Full-time, on-site only (not hybrid)What you'll do:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers
Take part in architectural and technical design decisions
Implement robust and scalable solutions following best practices
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Conduct code reviews and continuously improve development processes
Stay current with the latest Android development trends and tools

What we're looking for:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
7+ years of hands-on Android development experience
Proficient in Kotlin and Java - must
Solid experience working with SQL and mobile databases
Deep understanding of Android SDK, components, and architecture
Proven experience with libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Jetpack components, and Material Design
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, especially MVVM
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have:

Experience working with Maps and map tiles (Google Maps SDK, Mapbox, etc.)
Contributions to open-source projects
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
