Sales Engineer

  • Be an integral part of a team accountable for achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals;
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Cyber Threat Intelligence and SOC in the region;
  • Act as a trusted advisor for customers and partners on complex projects related to Cybersecurity;
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to Kaspersky solutions, and train the account team;
  • Anticipates technology and/or market trends and provides guidance on their application to external customers and feedback of business requirements back into Kaspersky's engineering and marketing organizations;
  • Successfully builds relationships with the account team, partners and customers in support of sales team objectives and engages and leverages corporate resources, abilities, budgets and personnel as appropriate;
  • Leads technical sales calls;
  • Configures and documents Kaspersky software, hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives;
  • Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding;
  • Presents and markets the design and value of proposed solutions and business cases to customers, partners and management;
  • Perform requirements gathering exercises and create innovative high level solution designs/architecture based on strategic/tactical needs;
  • Create and present customer-facing presentations;
  • Assist with creating bills of materials, statements of work, and proposals for solutions;
  • Coach and mentor a top class team of sales engineers.
What You Should Have/Know:
  • Must be based in Israel and have good experience demonstrating security solutions within Israel;
  • 5+ yrs. of enterprise sales engineering experience, be a self-motivated leader, highly energetic, with a strong hands-on, “can do” approach;
  • 3+ Years of hands on experience with Endpoint Protection Platforms and/or Endpoint Detection and Response solutions;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the security industry. Hands-on technical understanding of cyber security threats (i.e. malware, ransomware, APT's, zero-day, etc.); threat detection systems , security information event management solutions, packet analysis tools, application security, incident response, forensics, operating system and network security;
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) structure and processes including a SOC as-a-service (MSSP) ecosystem;
  • Hands-on experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms;
  • A clear understanding of Kaspersky competitors, their solutions, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats;
  • Proven ability in creating and presenting solutions to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior level executives;
  • Ability to set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
