A startup company in the field of interactive shopping experiences has developed a smart device that attaches to a supermarket cart and automatically identifies products as they are placed in or removed from the cart no barcode scanning required. The device also enables seamless checkout, eliminating the need to stand in line.Located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, the company operates in a hybrid model with one work-from-home day per week. They currently have 50 employees, including a 30-person R&D team.About the role

Join a team of 3 developers, reporting to the AI Team Lead
Act as the technical lead within the team looking for someone with strong hands-on experience who has worked on real-world products
Work with video data and object detection in the field of Computer Vision
Research and analyze Deep Learning models
Combine classical AI techniques with modern Deep Learning approaches
Split responsibilities evenly between research and hands-on implementation
Develop in both Python and C++
Work on a complex, multi-disciplinary product from concept to production

Requirements:

3 years of hands-on experience
Strong Python programming skills
Proven experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
M.Sc. in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.)
