As a LiDAR System Technician, you'll be the hands-on backbone of the system engineering team. You'll design and build test setups, execute experiments, collect and analyze measurement data, and help drive continuous improvement across our sensor platforms. This is a demanding yet highly rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in a lab environment and takes ownership of end-to-end testing activities.Key Responsibilities

Lab Testing & Instrumentation
Set up and operate oscilloscopes, ampere meters, power supplies and other test gear
Develop and maintain custom test setups for LiDAR modules
Data Acquisition & Analysis
Write scripts in Python or MATLAB to automate data capture, processing and visualization
Experiment Execution
Plan and conduct characterization experiments under varying environmental conditions
Document procedures, results and deviations in detailed lab reports
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with system engineers, optics experts and firmware teams to troubleshoot issues
Provide feedback on design for testability and manufacturability

Required Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, ammeters, power meters, etc.)
Proficiency in scripting for data acquisition and analysis using Python and/or MATLAB
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience with laser systems, optics or RF
Exposure to automotive-grade sensor development or semiconductor laser characterization
Familiarity with version control (Git) and lab-automation frameworks
