Core Network Support Engineer

• Perform cellular network checks.
• Proactively act on events reported by various monitoring tools.
• Perform troubleshooting and escalate internally and externally as required.
• Work with the Core Network engineering team
• Investigate Technical Support issues and track trouble tickets.
• Communicate directly with customers by email and phone.
• Take ownership and resolve customer incidents per set guidelines
• Work continuously to increase core network Support knowledge.
• Work with vendors, contractors, service providers, integrators
• Provide ongoing communication to both customer support teams and engineering staff during times of outage or service impact.
• Project management in a cellular network

• Bachelor's degree in information technology/computer science.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Willingness to be on-call from time to time.
• Willingness to provide overseas support.
• Knowledge/experience with telecom of IP networks

• Knowledgeable in GSM/UMTS, LTE, VoLTE, 5G
• Experience with networking troubleshooting.
• Experience using Sales Force or anther ticket system
• Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire for a variety of challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well organized with the ability to properly manage individual workload.
• Solid problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter capable of working independently or in groups.
