- Full AP cycle processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, credit card transactions including validation, coding, entry, tracking & payments.
- Own and maintain the accurate and timely financial close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, external & internal reporting, and variance analyses.
- Responsible for cash forecasting and treasury including Intercompany funding requests, cross & recharges, reconciliation and reporting.
- Manage and review workpapers from our 3rd party UK accounting firm to ensure completeness and accuracy. Responsible for monitoring financial close progress, review payroll, and AP payments.
- Full-cycle processing of Israel payroll on a monthly basis for all Israel-based employees, while incorporating payroll data from multiple internal and external sources. This includes delivering off-cycle/ad hoc payments as needed & the annual and monthly forms like 101, 161, 126, etc.
- Monthly accruals and reporting such as vacation, recreation, and other payroll & tax accruals.
- Partner with HR as it relates to employee on/offboarding, benefits, deductions and other matters.
- Partner with local and US team on budget and reporting initiatives.
- Manage VAT related returns, audits, and ensure compliance with local requirements.
- Comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and timely responses to tax authorities' inquiries.
- Primary liaison for external financial auditor and tax advisors for our Israel subsidiary.
- Lead special projects, including process improvements, the adoption of new accounting standards, and software and reporting systems implementations & enhancements, as required.
- Certified bookkeeper (minimum level 2. Type 3 is an advantage).
- Certified payroll controller.
- 5+ years of professional experience. Multi-national company and/or public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience working with Shiklulit payroll software and Netsuite.
- Advanced knowledge in Israeli accounting policies, tax laws, payroll regulations.
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation communications in English.
- Strong Excel skills as well as excellent organization skills.
- Experience working with Coupa, Expensify, BambooHR, and Navan is preferred.
